Government College Kotri, affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (C.G.) was established in 2012 with faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce in the building of Government Higher Secondary School Kotri. It has now shifted to its own building which is spacious and well ventilated. It is located three kilometers away from the famous Vijaypur Kila. The institution started its journey with very few students, but in the present academic year i.e. 2021, the student strength is 555.The College maintains a rich library with text books, reference books, journals and magazines. It is proud to have an actively functioning NSS wing and Red Cross. Along with imparting quality education, it helps and encourages students to participate in indoor and outdoor games. Here, the teachers and the students have very congenial relationship. The teachers not only implement the government plans and guidelines but also reach out to the students with their exclusive support when need arises. The college ensures pollution free, tobacco free and “swachh” campus.
