Ragging is completely banned in universities and colleges as per the directions of Supreme Court and UGC. If someone does ragging, there is a provision for strict action against him. Anti-ragging committee has been constituted to control ragging in the college. The convener of this committee is Mr Rajesh Ghosale (Assistant Professor Zoology). If anyone commits ragging, then his complaint can be made directly to the committee.
punishment/provision
On being found ragging with any student in the college / on the complaint made by the student suffering from ragging, the Anti-Ragging Committee can take the following action against the student concerned:-
Admission canceled
Restrictions on entry in class
Deprived of scholarship and other facilities
Deprived from appearing in the examination
Exam Result Canceled
Deprived from participating in various cultural and sports activities of the college
Expulsion from college hostel
Expulsion from university/college
Imprisonment for three years/25000 fine
